My passion for Africa took me for the first time to the continent as a volunteer in the Tarangire Lion Project, are search project on the lion population in the Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania.

I studied to become a professional guide in South Africa in the Kruger National Park, where I received my qualifications for ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling) and later on , Level 3 qualification from FGASA (Field Guide Association of Southern Africa), the most accredited association of safari guides in Africa. I also received the qualification as Trails Guide, again from FGASA, regarding theconduction of walking safaris in areas with potentially dangerous game, obtained at Beho Beho in Tanzania.

I have worked as a guide and as camp manager in southern Tanzania in two of the wildest and most untouched areas inthe African continent, Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve.

During these years I have heightened my knowledge of these areas by working for three different camps, Mdonya Old River Camp, Selous Impala Camp and Lake Manze Camp.

In South Africa I mostly worked as walking guide with Transfrontiers - Kruger walking safaris in Klaserie and Timbavati game reserve.

Now I am freelancing, working as a consultant, guide and trainer for various companies and camps or as private guide for guest who want to have a deeper understanding of the bush. In Italy together with a friend we organize trips throughout the african continent

I speak Italian, English and Swahili.
